This Chardonnay has the distinctive mineral touch of rifle stone and saline notes intermingled with elegant floral notes, ripe yellow apples, citrus aromas, a round texture on the palate and a long and persistent finish. Bright yellow and golden color. On the nose it is very subtle and expressive, combining floral notes, citrus touches and granny smith apple notes in harmony with some salinity. Rich on the palate, ranging from white fruit to mineral notes. It is wonderfully balanced. It is a delicious appetizer served with fresh goat cheese or a hard cheese with a walnut flavor such as Emmental. It stands up well to salad dressing and asparagus and will enhance any meal that includes oysters, shellfish, poultry or pork.
